Dance DVD

Using and dance DVD is a great way to burn calories, increase your balance and coordination skills, and have fun all at the same time. There are hundreds of different DVD’s out there that will teach you how to do a particular kind of dance, while you stand in your living room. They will also give you great anaerobic activity.

With a dance DVD you can learn the basics of belly dancing, break dancing, jazz dancing, jazzercise, ballet, etc. They won’t teach you as well as an official dance instructor would, but they will give you a basic idea and feel for the dance, as well as help you improve you physical shape, balance, and coordination.

Different dance DVD’s serve different purposes. If you are looking to tone your abs in a fun way, a belly dancing DVD would be perfect. If you are looking for something to get your heart rate up and shed the pounds try a jazzercise or hip hop DVD. There are also DVD’s out there that will just help teach you technique and skill to improve your dancing.
