Dance Clothes
Different styles of dance clothes vary depending upon the style of dance they are being used for. Styles of dance, such as jazz, hip hop, ballroom, ballet, tap, belly, and swing all have different, unique clothing designed to fit that style of dance perfectly. Whatever the style of dance, the chosen dance apparel should reinforce the message your dance is sending and enhance the intricate body movements of the choreography.
Wearing clothing you feel comfortable in improves your overall confidence levels. The same concept applies with dance clothes. The clothes must allow you full range of motion, and most importantly they must be completely comfortable.
A few other things to keep in mind when picking out dance clothes: They must fit perfectly; clothes that are too big may end up falling off or even causing injury while clothes that are too small may rip or restrict your body movement. Also keep in mind the fabric the clothes are made of; some fabrics may look good, but if they don’t breath you will hate yourself for buying them by the time you are done warming up. Dry fit materials, linins and cottons are good choices for breathable fabrics.
